MUSIC PRODUCER

As a music producer, Sawan has played fairy godmother to many a musician ranging from stalwarts in the field to upcoming indie artistes, over several albums and soundscapes.
 
  • She has produced international sarod virtuoso brothers Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan's very first foray into World Music, with her debut album "Reincarnation."
  • She has produced what may be the only vocal performance of iconic international Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, in her album "Truth."
  • She has produced songs for a range of indie artistes on her "Delhi Underground" album. These songs include an english ballad by a vision impaired fellow choir member, a hindi pop song by a maverick exhibition specialist, and a haunting instrumental by a guitarist.
